Tip for ESC calibration without arduino or Radio equipment

#1

I saw at the bottom of this page: http://wiki.openrov.com/index.php/Programming_the_ESC That there sometimes was a need for ESC calibration to make it function properly. there is a link for how to do this via a arduino board.

But for those that are not that familiar with programming arduino boards(or dont have one) one can use a servo-tester to do the calibration.

these can be bought on hobbyking for 5-6$ and is nice to have for testing servos, or just calibrating, and checking of ESC's

Also these servo testers will become useless, since we built a servo testing screen in the diagnostic UI of the cockpit.
