We are still having issues with losing beaglebones. In thinking about it some more last night it occurred to us that both time we have lost the beaglebone. (it wont boot up when we power up later), it has been when we have run too long on a set of batteries and lost control. In both instances the ROV took off and we had to pull it in by the tether. (we have the twisted pair run though polypropylene rope with a shackle attached to the body of the ROV).
Is it possible that we are somehow “killing” the beaglebone by running the batteries too low ?
Also, could you please tell me what we should set for the low limit on the batteries ?
