After years and years of admiring and learning from these speakers, it's wild to see my talk on TED.com. More importantly, I'm thrilled that TED let me write a short essay about the changing nature of exploration, and highlight some of the incredible people in our community.
My only critique: I wish they would have titled it "Our underwater robot" because that's what makes it special.
It was fun to interview a few people to see why and where they are exploring. I wish I could do that with everyone. I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Also, we're building out Open Explorer for exactly that purpose - to give everyone a chance to tell their stories.
