Getting Started with the Software

#1

To those that already have experience on the software side of OROV, where would you suggest one start?

I have some experience programming Arduino, PIC, C+ , etc (nothing extensive) but no experience AT ALL on the Beagleboard and Linux. Can you offer some pointers and good resources (books, tutorials, ertc) that would be useful to get started?

Thanks in advance for the help and guidance.

Charles

Hey Charles,

I will write a blog post on a more comprehensive answer. But in the meantime, http://beagleboard.org/ has a lot of getting started documentation. The ubuntu/debian on linux overview can be found here: http://eewiki.net/display/linuxonarm/BeagleBone+Black
