Dynamic positioning


i am dreaming of an ROV for a long time already and have been really interested in this project.

As far as i see you are using a dynamic positioning system with the verticular prop. With that system and no ballast tanks how do you achieve a steady positionign at different depths.

The depth hold is still in Beta. Given that the ROV is basically neutrally buoyant at all depths, the vertical prop simply has to move correct for depth as things change. If the ROV is slightly positive, that means the vertical prop will keep coming on to push it back down to the hold depth.
