I just came across the Aquaticus ROV website. I've never met the designer but I really enjoyed looking through his projects. This manipulator design stuck out. Please post in any images and resources you know of for DIY manipulator designs to inspire our future designs.

Very cool - I think our biggest enemy on payloads will be the weight , I bet that weighs nearly as much as the ROV? Perhaps we could adapt it with a worm gear and motor system rather than hydraulics?
It’s not hydraulics: it’s a electric screwdriver that turns and screws in and out a … Screw that pulls a small piece of metal with a threaded hole in it.

Hmm...looks expensive. I'm going to add one of these to my OpenROV when I build it :P
